Senior spotlight

The end of august means our high school graduates are off to college! This year we have 2 very special people that will be moving on (but we'll see them on breaks!) Both Patrick & Kaitlyn are Hunterdon Central graduates and are both going to college this week.

Patrick has worked with us for 2 years. He will be attending The University of New Haven with a major in National Security. He hopes to have a government job when he graduates. Patrick loves playing basketball and hanging out with his friends. A lot of his closest friends work side by side with him at The Fudge Shoppe which has been a huge blessing to all! His favorite candy is anything dark chocolate like our fresh blackberries, peanut butter melt always and peanut butter graham crackers. I asked him what his favorite quote was and his response was, "who said you couldn't do it?" -Mr. Burry (haha) I also asked Patrick what kind of legacy he hopes to leave behind at the shoppe and he said his kind hearted personality.

Patrick, you will be missed but we can't wait to have you working with us during your school breaks! You have been a wonderful retail employee and we have watched you grow in so many ways! We are so thankful for your stewardship to the younger workers and your eagerness to learn.

Edit

Kaitlyn has worked for us for a year and a half. She will be attending West Chester University with hopes to become a nurse when she graduates. She enjoys hanging out with her friend and family and being at work. Her favorite candy is salted caramels! I asked her what her favorite quote was and she said "everything happens for a reason". I asked kaitlyn what kind of legacy she hopes to leave behind at The Fudge shoppe and her response - "I hope to be looked up to at the fudge shoppe and remembered in a positive way that will encourage younger employees and everyone to stay positive. To be able to love what they do and connect with the employees in not a work way but as a family and trustworthy environment that is comforting and a second home because that's what working here has done for me".

Kaitlyn, we have watched you evolve into such an amazing young woman. Your sensitive nature brings people in and you care so much about people. You have been a great retail employee and you will be missed when you're away. We can't wait to see you on breaks.

We wish you both the best of luck at college! Your fudge family loves you both!! See you soon!
